What is Percocet?<\/span><\/h2>\n

Percocet is a drug used to manage\u00a0the pain that is severe enough that it requires prescription opioids<\/strong>\u00a0and for whom other treatments aren’t effective, and when other treatments for pain like non-opioid pain medications are not able to treat pain adequately, or you find them difficult to take.<\/span>\u00a0Percocet is an\u00a0high-potency opioid combination analgesic<\/strong>\u00a0that is only available on prescription.<\/span><\/p>\n

A painkiller that contains opioids could expose the user\u00a0at risk of overdose and even death<\/strong>.<\/span>\u00a0Even if you are taking your medication according to the dosage recommended, you’re at risk of developing addiction to opioids misuse, abuse, and addiction that could lead to death.<\/span><\/p>\n

        • Breastfeeding<\/strong>.<\/span>\u00a0Percocet gets into breast milk, and can cause harm to your baby.<\/span>\u00a0Take note of babies’ an increase in sleeping (more than normal) breathing difficulties or a limp.<\/span>\u00a0Get medical attention immediately when you observe these symptoms.<\/span><\/li>\n

                • substances that induce sleep or reduce your breathing rate such as a sleeping pill, medication to relax muscles, treat mental illness.<\/span><\/li>\n
